Change Of Mind

Kylie Hay does not offer full refunds or exchanges if you change your mind on a product purchased in the salon or online.

If your purchased item/s is in original, unused and sealed condition, you may return it for a gift voucher that can be used in salon or in our online store. Your gift voucher will be valid for 3 years from the issue date.

If you wish to return your unused item for a gift voucher, please send your order number, name and product details to kyliehay@bigpond.com.

No returns will be accepted without prior authorisation.

Returns on unused product can be made in the salon or via post. You will receive a voucher within 7 days, less any further shipping charges on the original order.

 

All returned items must be unopened, in original packaging and returned undamaged within 14 days of receipt of your order.

 

All item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Return Costs

Return shipping costs are to be incurred by the customer, unless in the unlikely event that the item is damaged, faulty, incorrect, or if an allergic reaction occurs.

 

All shipping costs are non-refundable. In the event you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

 

Refunds

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

 

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).

 

You will receive the credit within 2-3 business days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

 

Incorrect Item/Damaged On Arrival

Please inspect all packages thoroughly and immediately upon delivery.

 

If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please contact us within 48 hours delivery and send a photo of the incorrect/damaged item to 0456 087 274 or kyliehay@bigpond.com.

Please do not dispose of the item or you will not be eligible for a return or replacement.

 

In all cases the damaged merchandise must be returned with the packaging it was sent with. Upon receipt, Kylie Hay will issue you with a replacement item or a refund for the product. We cannot accept any returns without prior authorisation.

 

Cancellations

You have the right to cancel an order without penalty until it has been packaged. Once an order has been shipped you are unable to cancel.

 

Returns due to Customer Error

If a package is returned to us due to a customer error such as incorrect address, or missing details, a 15% shipping and handling fee applies. Once the item/s are returned, you will be sent an invoice for the additional charges. Once payment has been received, your order will be sent to you as soon as possible.

 

Clearance & Sale Items

No credits, refunds or exchanges on any sale or clearance items.

 

Allergic Reaction

Kylie Hay will not be held responsible in the unlikely occurrence of an allergic reaction to a product you have purchased from the salon or online. We urge you to contact us for a full list of ingredients on any product sold in the salon or online if you have any concerns regarding particular ingredients, and consult your doctor with any questions prior to completing your purchase. If an allergic reaction occurs, please discontinue use of the product immediately. Take a photo of the reaction and contact us, and also your doctor for further assistance.

 

Allergic Reaction returns will only be accepted if the product has been less than 20% used, and you have a statement from your doctor stating the reaction was specifically caused by the ingredient/product in your item.

Shipment Processing Time

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or phone. Shipping times can vary from 3-7 business days (depending on address).

 

Shipping Rates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We offer flat rate shipping of $10.95 within Australia and free shipping if you spend over $99.

 

Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

All packages are sent via Australia Post. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been shipped containing your tracking number and details on how to track your order. Please allow 24 hours before tracking your package, as there can be delay with the item being scanned from Australia Post.

 

Delivery Lodgement

Once an order has been lodged with Australia Post, Kylie Hay are no longer liable for lost, stolen or misplaced packages. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure all contact and delivery information is correct. If Authority To Leave (ATL) is selected on your order, Kylie Hay and the nominated shipping carrier are not responsible if the parcel has been lodged as successfully delivered, as the customer has chosen a non-secure delivery option. If you do not receive your parcel delivered via ATL delivery, Kylie Hay will not replace or refund you unless otherwise required by law. We will attempt to locate your items by tracing your parcel on your behalf and lodging an investigation via the nominated delivery service if required.

 

Out Of Stock Items

In the uncommon event where an item you have selected is out of stock, we can offer you a refund for the product/s, a replacement product or alternatively we can ship the item/s to you once back in stock.

After exfoliating, simply choose your favourite tanning product – cream, gel, spray or mousse – and simply follow the steps below for the perfect tan to each part of the body:

 

LEG APPLICATION:

This can be applied standing or sitting.

• Apply your chosen fake tan to each end of the mitt.
• Place hands inside the mitts and starting with your lower leg, work your way all around the leg, moving in upward, sweeping motions.

 

KNEE AND FEET APPLICATION:

• Because knees and feet are usually drier areas they will need less self tan product.
• When exfoliating, pay special attention to knees and feet
• Once you have covered both legs, simply brush the remaining product left on the mitt gently over knees and feet.
• Make sure you brush over each toe and heel very delicately as these areas of the body need much less to avoid any streaking.

 

BACK APPLICATION:
Try your fake tanning mitt without fake tan on your back first to test how you want to use it.

• Apply your chosen fake tan to the middle of the mitt - you may need to apply it to both sides.
• Put one hand in one mitt and bring it around your back, placing the other hand in the other mitt.
• Using smooth motions alternating to the left and right, work the mitt up and down your back, checking in the mirror to ensure you have covered everywhere. Then, adjust your mitts so they are diagonal and work the product into the upper back, moving in upwards and downwards diagonal motions. If needed blend sides with mitt ends. Reaching your upper back, bring the mitt up at an angle. 
• Check in the mirror that your have covered your entire back and that there are no streaks.

 

STOMACH, CHEST AND NECK APPLICATION:

• With both hands still in each end of the mitt (with the middle section covering your lower back) place your product on your stomach
• Work your way around your stomach in round, circular and sweeping motions to fully cover the entire area.
• Blend all the way up to your chest in the circular motions and into the neck.

 

ARM APPLICATION:

• Add product to the end of the mitt and start from the top of your shoulders
• Work your way down to your forearms, blending and moving the mitt in sweeping, circular motions around your arms to get the perfect and even coverage
• Lastly gently brush remaining product over tops of hands and fingers.

Remember – it takes a few times to perfect this routine, but once you’ve got it you won’t remember HOW you used to tan your back before!
