WHAT TO EXPECT WITH AN ELLEEBANA LASH LIFT

LASH LIFT PRE TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

• Please arrive with NO mascara or eye makeup.

• Remove contacts if you wear them.

• If you wear waterproof mascara, please stop using it 2-3 days before your appointment. It leaves a residue which may prevent the solutions penetrating the lashes which can cause an  underwhelming result. 

• Do not use oil based eye makeup remover for 48 hours before your appointment. Use micellar water or any oil free remover.

• Cease using any lash growth serums 24 hours prior to your appointment.

• Avoid caffeine, as this can cause fluttering and twitching of the eye.

​LASH LIFT AFTERCARE ADVICE

• Avoid wetting your lashes for 24 hours after treatment. This includes steam from hot showers, saunas, ovens, even cooking over steaming stovetop.

• Keep your lashes free of mascara for the first 24hrs after your lash lift. The only mascara designed to be worn immediately after a lash lift is Elleevate lash lift mascara. After this time, continue using Elleevate, or any water based or NON waterproof mascara.

• Do not use makeup remover, wipes or pads, for 24hrs after your lash lift. For the life of your lash lift, always remove eye makeup in a gentle downward motion. Oil based removers are not recommended as they can cause the lift to drop prematurely. An eyelash extension cleanser is perfect as it is gentle on lashes and oil free. I recommend Elleebana foaming makeup remover. This can be purchased in the salon.

• Do not use any lotions, creams, shampoos, face wash/cleansers for a minimum of 24 hours.

• Avoid rubbing your eyes or playing with your lashes.

• Do not use an eyelash curler, you don't need it!

• Avoid sleep masks and sleeping on your side if possible. Because the lashes are still malleable, sleeping on your side or face, or wearing an eye mask, can cause the lashes to change direction. Sleeping on your back, for the first few nights is recommended.

• Avoid sunbathing for 24 hours after treatment. Direct sunlight may fade the tint.

• Brush lashes into place every time they get wet.

• If you wear contact lenses, avoid putting them back in for the rest of the day.

• It is highly recommended you use Elleeplex Aftercare Formula or Elleeplex Hyaluronic serum to care for your lashes after your treatment.

• Schedule your next appointment in 6-8 weeks time!

 

Lash Lift is not suitable if you have lash extensions, however you may have a Lash Lift BEFORE lash extensions for an enhanced shape if your lashes are naturally straight.

Expect results to last 6-8 weeks, after which your lashes will gently relax back to their natural state, and there will be new regrowth that will be ready to be treated again. Effects of the tint will start to diminish within 3 to 4 weeks as hair grows out and the tint color fades.​ Want longer lasting results? Why not try lash dye with your lash lift!
